Tonight will be mostly clear, with temperatures dipping to around 77 degrees and southeast winds between 2 and 6 mph. The National Weather Service puts El Paso’s rain chances at 4% or lower Sunday and Monday, so measurable rain is unlikely in the city.
Triple-Digit Heat Arrives Monday
Monday’s high is forecast near 102 degrees, followed by 103 on Tuesday and 102 on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will remain hot at about 101 degrees, with slightly better chances for showers and thunderstorms late in the week—though the forecast discussion says storms will favor mountain and western areas more than El Paso.
Light Winds, Very Dry Afternoons
Winds should generally stay light, but afternoon humidity in the lowlands will fall into the low to mid-20% range. Residents planning outdoor activities should bring water, take breaks from the afternoon sun, and keep a close eye on children and pets, especially as the hottest stretch arrives Monday through Wednesday.
