Saturday night brings a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9 p.m., followed by partly cloudy skies and a low near 73°F. Sunday repeats the setup with mostly sunny skies, a high around 91°F, a heat index near 98°F and a 20% storm chance after 2 p.m.
Storm Chances Increase Next Week
The pattern gets wetter Monday, when Atlanta could see a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms and a high near 90°F. Storm chances then continue Tuesday through Friday as highs hover around 90 to 91°F, and forecasters say heat index readings could approach or reach triple digits by midweek.
