Cincinnati's fall concert calendar just got a serious dose of '90s R&B nostalgia: Jodeci is bringing its 35th anniversary tour to the city this November.
The group will perform Tuesday, November 10, at The Andrew J Brady Music Center as part of a 36-city U.S. run, according to WKRC. The venue lists doors at 7 p.m. and show time at 8 p.m., with tickets available through The Brady Music Center.
A landmark R&B album gets the spotlight
The tour celebrates Forever My Lady, Jodeci's 1991 debut, which went three-times platinum and helped establish the group's blend of gospel-influenced harmonies, hip-hop production and unapologetically romantic lyrics. The album has also received a new expanded vinyl edition, part of a broader anniversary push detailed by uDiscover Music.
Cincinnati fans can expect staples from across Jodeci's catalog, including “Forever My Lady,” “Come and Talk to Me,” “Stay,” “Love U 4 Life,” “Lately,” “Cry for You,” “Feenin’” and “Freek'n You.” The group’s official venue biography says Jodeci has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide, accumulated 2.7 billion streams and produced five No. 1 songs.
