A new alert from East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers says Hamzahta Pearson is missing from Knoxville after he was last seen around 3:30 p.m. Monday near Casey’s on Walker Springs Road and Walbrook Drive. The alert says Pearson may be in the St. Frances/Sutherland Avenue area.

The notice, shared Tuesday by East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers, references the Knoxville Police Department and asks anyone who may know where Pearson is to come forward.

What The Missing-Person Alert Says

The Facebook alert describes Pearson as 15, while the agency’s online listing gives a July 16, 2010, birth date and identifies him as 16. That listing describes him as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and gives case number 26-026454, according to the Crime Stoppers missing-persons page.

The online listing also retains an earlier July missing-person date and a last known location near Western Avenue and Keith Avenue, with a possible destination near the Marble City community and Third Creek Greenway Park. The newer alert places Pearson near Walker Springs on Monday, giving residents a more recent location to keep in mind.

How To Submit An Anonymous Tip

East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers says tips about Pearson can be submitted anonymously by calling 877-363-8847, texting ETtips to 738477, using the P3Tips app, or submitting information through its online tip system. The latest notice does not provide a reason for Pearson’s disappearance or say that he has been located.

Anyone with information about Pearson’s whereabouts should share it through one of those channels rather than relying on unverified posts or rumors. Even a small detail about where he may have been seen could help investigators narrow the search.
