The middle of the workweek looks dry, though breezes remain part of the forecast. Wednesday's winds will run 12 to 20 mph, and Thursday should return to about 97 under sunny skies. Friday may be the hottest day in the outlook at 98, with only a slight chance of rain.
Weekend Storm Chances Return
Rain chances become more noticeable Saturday and Sunday, but they remain slight. Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 95 and a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms, while Sunday should also reach 95 with a 22% chance, including a small chance of morning showers.
For outdoor plans, the main concerns are prolonged heat during the afternoon and sudden wind shifts near any nearby thunderstorms. Clear conditions return Monday night, but Las Vegas is in for a week where summer heat remains firmly in charge.
