Leon Bridges is heading back to Bowie House, the Cultural District luxury hotel where he sold out an intimate show last year, for a September 13 benefit concert that will only be available to guests willing to book an overnight room package. There are no standalone tickets this time around, hotel representatives confirmed, which means fans hoping to catch the Fort Worth native's set will need to pay for a stay to get in the door.
The show, first reported by CultureMap Fort Worth, marks Bridges' return to the property following his sold-out debut there in 2025. This year's concert is part of the third annual Auberge Concert Series, an annual run of intimate performances staged at Auberge Resorts Collection properties around the world. Christian Clerc said the series gives guests rare access to world-class artists in remarkable destinations, according to CultureMap's reporting. The series will also bring country singer HARDY to The Lodge at Blue Sky in Utah, with additional performers to be announced later this fall.
What's Included in Each Package
Because the show is bundled exclusively into overnight stays, prices climb steeply depending on how close fans want to be to the stage. The General Admission Experience starts at $1,550 and includes a one-night stay, two general admission concert tickets, and one drink ticket per guest. The Premium Table Experience starts at $2,450 and adds two premium table seats and a bottle of champagne, per CultureMap.
Guests willing to spend more can book the Premier Experience, starting at $2,950, which includes a one-night stay, two seats in rows two or three, and two drink tickets per guest. At the top of the ladder sits the Front Row Experience, starting at $6,450, which packages in a one-night stay, two front-row concert tickets, official after-party access in the Billet Room, and two drink tickets per guest. All packages are available through Bowie House's website, CultureMap reports.
A New Album Gets a Hometown Preview
The concert will feature songs from Bridges' forthcoming fifth studio album, Happiness Anytime, alongside fan favorites, according to CultureMap. Bridges announced the 12-track record in July, and KERA News reports it was produced by Jungle's J Lloyd and Lydia Kitto, with the singer folding South American and Brazilian rhythms into the project as a follow-up to his 2024 country-folk record Leon. The album is due out September 25, less than two weeks after the Bowie House show.
Bridges' Fort Worth roots run deep and have been formally recognized by the city he still calls home. KERA News notes that city officials proclaimed November 15, 2024, as Leon Bridges Day during his sold-out Dickies Arena show, and honorary street sign toppers bearing his name went up outside Niles City Sound in 2025 — a distinction Hoodline covered when the city council weighed cultural honors for him. Before any of that, Bridges was discovered playing local open mics while working as a dishwasher, later signing with Columbia Records in 2014.
Proceeds Support The Big Good
Once again, the concert will benefit The Big Good, the nonprofit Bridges co-founded with former TCU head football coach Gary Patterson in 2020 after the two connected on a pandemic Zoom call. Patterson served as TCU's head coach from 2000 to 2021 and racked up 181 victories, making him the program's winningest coach, according to 360 West Magazine. Since its founding, The Big Good has granted and invested more than $4 million into North Texas community initiatives focused on education and workforce development, with funds flowing to groups including Upspire and the Tarrant To & Through Partnership, according to the organization's own accounting.
That charitable footprint has grown fast. The nonprofit's 5th Annual “The Big Night” gala at River Ranch Stockyards raised a record $2.7 million for North Texas charities, according to Curated Texan, with the sold-out event drawing 600 attendees and a duet performance by Bridges and Kacey Musgraves — a pairing Hoodline covered in January. The Big Good's next gala, The Big Night, is set for April 1, 2027.
Fort Worth's Newest Luxury Address
Bowie House opened December 1, 2023, as Fort Worth's first luxury urban retreat, offering 106 guest accommodations on Camp Bowie Boulevard in the Cultural District, according to AFAR. The property anchors a 30-block promenade near the Will Rogers Memorial Center and the district's museums. Owner Jo Ellard, a National Cutting Horse Non-Pro Hall of Fame rider, curated more than 400 original Western art pieces throughout the hotel, which was designed by BOKA Powell, AFAR reports — down to guest rooms outfitted with customized boot shines, hat racks, and boot benches.
The hotel's arrival tracks with a broader boom in Fort Worth tourism. Visitor spending in the city surged 25% year-over-year for two straight years as tourism reached 10.8 million visitors in 2022, according to Hotel Dive, growth that has made the Dallas-Fort Worth region a top market for hotel investment. Bowie House's signature chophouse restaurant, Bricks and Horses, also overhauled its menu and reopened its patio earlier this year, as Hoodline previously reported in its piece on the chophouse's bigger spring menu.
Bridges' national profile continues to climb alongside his hometown ties. He earned his first Grammy Award in 2019 for Best Traditional R&B Performance for his single Bet Ain't Worth the Hand, one of six career Grammy nominations, according to the LA Phil. His breakout Platinum-certified single River helped propel him to global tours and a performance at the White House. With Happiness Anytime arriving later this month and another Bowie House show already booked, Fort Worth's own soul star shows no sign of slowing down.
