Officers were called to the 3600 block of Penrose Street after reports of a shooting, and the victim was rushed to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to KSDK, officers found the man suffering from a gunshot wound before he was taken for emergency medical care. Next of kin had not yet been notified when initial details were released, the station reported.
