Officers responded just after 8:10 a.m. to a shooting call in the 4700 block of Bluff Wood Cove, according to Action News 5. The station reported that Memphis police had not released suspect information at the time of publication.

The shooting comes after another recent gunfire investigation in Raleigh. Hoodline reported in July that a teenager was grazed during a shooting involving a blue SUV, though authorities have not indicated that the incidents are connected.
