A late-morning shooting left a man in critical condition Tuesday in Midtown Memphis, with police detaining one person as investigators worked to piece together what happened. The gunfire brought officers to a residential stretch of the neighborhood just before lunchtime.
The shooting happened shortly before 11:15 a.m. in the 1000 block of Roland Street, where officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to Action News 5. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
