A 12-year-old Fairfax County boy has been missing since Thursday morning, and police now believe he may be in Baltimore. Michael Morgan was last seen in Chantilly, prompting a cross-state push for tips as investigators work to determine where he is.
According to Daily Voice, Morgan was last seen around 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the 13600 block of Route 50. Baltimore Police shared Fairfax County’s missing-child alert Friday afternoon and asked anyone who spots him or knows where he may be to contact authorities.
Police Release Description And Surveillance Details
Michael is described as 4 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 60 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white Puma T-shirt with dinosaur prints, gray pajama pants patterned with white clouds and white headphones; police said he was carrying a blue Bluey backpack and was seen with a large 7-Eleven drink in surveillance images.
Police have not said whether Michael is believed to be traveling alone, and they have released no additional details about the circumstances of his disappearance. The detailed clothing and backpack description could help residents identify him quickly if he is seen in a store, on a sidewalk or near a transit stop.
