Clouds Clear As Temperatures Climb
According to the National Weather Service in Portland, northwest winds will stay light at 2 to 6 mph Wednesday. Tonight should be mostly clear, with temperatures dipping to about 58 before rising slightly overnight.
Smoke Could Tint Thursday Skies
Thursday brings a warmer forecast, with mostly sunny skies, a high near 84 and areas of smoke possible after 1 p.m. Friday should reach about 85, while Saturday is expected to top out near 84 and Sunday near 86 under mostly sunny to partly sunny skies.
Rain Chances Return Early Next Week
The weekend looks largely dry around Portland, although the Cascades could see a small chance of showers or thunderstorms Saturday afternoon. A slight chance of light rain returns after 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, with highs easing from about 85 Monday to 81 Tuesday; no active weather alerts are listed for the area.
