New Orleans’ most gloriously overcommitted pastry party is returning this fall, with Beignet Fest tickets now entering the mix for a full day of powdered sugar, live music and creative takes on the city’s signature treat. The festival is also once again turning that indulgence into funding for local autism programs.
The 2026 festival is set for Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the New Orleans City Park Festival Grounds, according to Biz New Orleans. Early-bird general admission costs $15 through Oct. 3 and includes festival entry, live entertainment, a sensory-friendly Kids Village and other activities, while children 10 and under get in free.
The ticket lineup also includes the returning Ruby Slipper VIP and Lagniappe Lounge experiences, which promise upgraded amenities and prime views of the entertainment stage. A new Abita 40 GA+ option is available to guests 21 and older, with access to a hospitality tent, dedicated restrooms, branded giveaways and one complimentary Abita beverage.
The Abita partnership arrives as the Louisiana brewery celebrates its 40th anniversary, with the company highlighting a special anniversary beer on its official anniversary page. It is a fairly on-brand collaboration: fried dough, cold beer and a city that has never met a festival upgrade it did not like.
Live Music And Beignet Experiments Return To City Park
The 2026 music lineup is already set, with performances from Imagination Movers, Amanda Shaw, Maggie Koerner and Dragon Smoke, plus DJ Flowerchild between acts. The schedule, posted by the festival’s official lineup page, gives the event a family-friendly daytime start before moving into a more full-throttle New Orleans concert stretch.
Food remains the main attraction, naturally. The festival’s official site says vendors will serve beignets in traditional, sweet and savory forms, including crabmeat, praline, fried chicken, bananas Foster and stuffed versions, alongside vegan, gluten-free and non-beignet options for anyone who wants to pace themselves before the sugar dust becomes a lifestyle.
The Festival’s Sweetest Ingredient Is Its Autism Mission
Beignet Fest is more than a food event with a charitable footnote. The Beignet Fest Foundation says it has raised more than $2.6 million and supported 31 programs in Greater New Orleans, funding services that include adaptive swim lessons, inclusive arts programs, sensory-friendly storytimes, therapy and family support.
The foundation’s work also reaches beyond annual grant checks. The Autism Society Greater New Orleans says Beignet Fest Foundation funding has helped sustain online social and support groups for caregivers and autistic adults, along with training opportunities for educators and school support staff.
One small timing wrinkle remains: the festival’s official ticket page still described the launch as an Aug. 4 rollout when checked Monday, while Biz New Orleans reported that early-bird tickets were already on sale. Either way, Nov. 7 is now circled, and organizers say the full festival menu will be announced in October.
