A single-vehicle crash turned westbound I-275 near Loveland into an emergency scene before dawn Tuesday, with every lane blocked and at least one person seriously injured. The shutdown arrived just as the Cincinnati-area morning commute was getting underway.
The crash was reported in eastern Hamilton County near the Clermont County line, at the exit for Loveland and Indian Hill near Loveland-Madeira Road. According to FOX19 NOW, an Air Care medical helicopter was called to the scene.
Emergency Crews Responded Before 4:30 A.M.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and Loveland-Symmes Fire Department responded shortly after 4:30 a.m., according to dispatch information reported by FOX19 NOW. The outlet said major travel delays were expected throughout the area, but officials had not yet released the injured person’s condition beyond describing at least one injury as serious.

Westbound Closure Remained In Place
In its latest report, FOX19 NOW said all westbound lanes remained blocked until further notice near Loveland-Madeira Road. A reopening time was not immediately announced as emergency crews worked at the crash site.
