Wednesday and Thursday look much the same, with mostly sunny skies and highs near 100 degrees. Overnight lows will remain around 78, meaning the city will get little relief after sunset and heat index values could still reach the 100s.
Little Rain And Warm Nights Ahead
Friday through Monday brings a slight dip into the upper 90s, but the heat is expected to stick around. Rain chances remain near zero to 5% through the weekend, while winds generally stay out of the south or southeast at 5 to 15 mph.
There are no watches, warnings or advisories posted for the area in the current forecast, but the combination of high temperatures and warm nights still calls for caution. The City of San Antonio recommends staying hydrated, limiting strenuous outdoor activity during the hottest hours and checking on older adults, children, neighbors and pets.
