Mostly sunny skies will take over today while northwest winds stay light at roughly 1 to 8 mph. The National Weather Service expects temperatures to ease slightly tomorrow, with a high near 83, then cool further to around 81 on Friday.
Marine Layer Returns Overnight
Clouds may make a return late at night and during the early morning as the marine layer grows deeper tomorrow into the weekend. San Jose should still clear out for mostly sunny or sunny afternoons, but northwest breezes will become more noticeable later in the day, reaching up to about 12 mph on Saturday.
Comfortable Weather Settles In
Saturday looks sunny with a high near 81, followed by a mostly sunny next Sunday near 82. Next Monday stays close to 81, and next Tuesday marks the coolest afternoon in the extended forecast at about 79 degrees.
Overnight lows will remain refreshingly mild, generally falling to 58 to 60 degrees through the weekend before dipping to around 58 next Tuesday morning. The warmer, drier conditions will be more noticeable in hills above 1,000 feet, while light winds should keep the setup from becoming especially unruly.
