According to News 9, Oklahoma City police were called to the collision near the busy intersection after the woman was hit. Police have not released the identities of the woman or the driver, and the initial report did not indicate that an arrest had been made.

The search follows another deadly hit-and-run in Oklahoma City less than a month ago. On July 9, two people riding a motorcycle were killed in southwest Oklahoma City, and a driver was later arrested in that case, according to KOCO.
