There is still a 30% chance of showers Monday night before skies gradually improve. Tuesday should be mostly sunny with a high near 78, followed by a sunny Wednesday that reaches about 84 degrees.
Late-week plans may need more flexibility. Thursday brings a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high near 78, while Friday looks sunny and cooler near 75; another round of shower chances could arrive by Saturday afternoon and evening.
Boaters Face Rougher Water Monday
For Boston Harbor and nearby coastal waters, southerly winds strengthen tonight before shifting southeast and east Monday, with gusts of 20 to 25 mph and seas building to 5 to 8 feet. Small Craft Advisories are posted for portions of the waters through Monday night, and the National Weather Service Boston/Norton says rip-current concerns will increase along south-facing beaches Monday and east-facing beaches Tuesday.
