An Extreme Heat Watch is in effect from Sunday afternoon through Wednesday evening for the St. Louis area, with heat index values potentially reaching 108. Monday and Tuesday are expected to hit 96, while overnight lows in the upper 70s will offer limited relief.
Storms Finally Break The Pattern
Wednesday stays hot near 93 but carries a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Rain chances rise to 50% Thursday, when the high drops to 87, and storms are likely Friday with a high near 84.
