The National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan office says heat index values should reach the low to mid-90s, with upper-90s readings possible where breaks in the clouds bring more sunshine. The latest timing is a sharper update to Hoodline’s Sunday forecast, which also flagged a hot and stormy start to the week.
Stronger Storms Cannot Be Ruled Out
Most of the day should not bring widespread severe weather, but an isolated stronger storm could produce hail or gusty winds. The National Weather Service lists no active watches, warnings or advisories for the area, though residents should move indoors when thunder is heard and keep alerts nearby.

Tuesday stays hot near 88 degrees with only a slight storm chance, while Wednesday reaches about 86 with a few showers possible. Temperatures ease to roughly 81 Thursday and 79 Friday and Saturday, but on-and-off storm chances linger before mostly sunny skies and a high near 78 arrive Sunday.
