The Elmont, the pool-and-nightlife complex on El Paso's West Side, is rolling out a run of nationally known DJ acts over the next five weeks, starting with Grammy-winning DJ Afrojack this Sunday. The lineup also brings Subtronics, Steve Aoki, Deadmau5 and DJ Pauly D to the venue's outdoor stage through late September, along with an official after-party tied to Karol G's Tropitour.
A Packed Late-Summer Schedule
According to KVIA, Afrojack is set to perform at The Elmont on August 23, kicking off a stretch of shows that continues with Subtronics on August 29. The venue's calendar then moves into September, with Steve Aoki presenting his Dim Mak Takeover on September 4 and an official after-party for Karol G's Tropitour landing the following night, September 5. Deadmau5 is scheduled for September 18, and DJ Pauly D closes out the run on September 25.
Philip Pedregon, operations beverage director at The Elmont, joined ABC-7 at Noon to walk through the upcoming shows and what attendees should expect, per the same KVIA report. The Elmont offers both daytime poolside events and nighttime performances, and the venue is described as bringing nationally known DJs and artists to El Paso. One notable restriction: the Subtronics show is open only to guests 18 and older.
Built to Host Big Crowds
The Elmont sits inside Montecillo, a 300-acre master-planned development on El Paso's West Side along West Castellano Drive, according to EPT Land Communities. The property was designed with capacity in mind: The Swim Club at the venue, opened in 2023 and designed by Martin Aquatic, features a 330-foot lazy river, a 7,500-square-foot zero-entry pool, and a 35-foot slide tower with three water slides. The broader Elmont complex also includes The Elmont Social live music area, an 18,000-square-foot resident clubhouse with a gym, Evaga Desert Kitchen + Bar, and event center spaces that can seat up to 300 guests.
Major concerts at the venue are booked in partnership with Disco Presents, a national electronic dance music promoter that produces more than 1,000 club events and festivals annually across North America. That partnership has already brought big names to El Paso this year — in March, The Elmont expanded into indoor concerts at its social facility with an all-female electronic music show headlined by DJ Nora En Pure, as reported by KFOX-TV, ahead of its 2026 pool season kickoff featuring Purple Disco Machine.
More Than Just a Concert Venue
The Elmont functions as both a public entertainment draw and a private amenity for the surrounding neighborhood. Memberships to The Swim Club and clubhouse, along with concert tickets, are bundled into residential packages for tenants at Montecillo multi-family complexes such as The Olivia at Montecillo, as well as select single-family homes, according to a Zillow listing. The development itself traces back to a February 2011 resolution from El Paso City Council supporting state legislation that created the Montecillo Municipal Management District No. 1, which set up tax-assessment financing for infrastructure across the 300-acre property.
Beyond the headline DJ sets, The Elmont keeps a steady weekday schedule of community programming, including Geeks Who Drink pub trivia at Evaga Desert Kitchen and late-night Back-to-School Night Swim events aimed at students from UTEP, NMSU, EPCC and Southwest University, per Visit El Paso. The venue sits within Montecillo's entertainment corridor off Vin Rambla Drive and North Mesa Street, near Topgolf, iFLY Indoor Skydiving, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, and a planned 3-acre pickleball venue, as noted by 93.1 KISS FM. Last summer, The Elmont also gave concert tickets to Canutillo ISD teachers ahead of the school year, part of the venue's broader pattern of local outreach alongside its national concert bookings.
