
Three people were hospitalized with serious injuries after police found them suffering apparent stab wounds inside a room at Somerset's Riverview Inn & Suites Saturday night. Officers were called to the Wilbur Avenue hotel for a reported medical emergency, then secured the room as the investigation got underway. The identities of the injured people and what led to the stabbing have not been released.
What Police Found At The Hotel
According to WHDH 7News, Somerset officers found three seriously injured people in a hotel room at the Riverview Inn & Suites. All three were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The Somerset Police Department said the victims appeared to have suffered stab wounds, and officers secured the room after arriving. Police had not immediately released additional details about the circumstances of the incident.
In its developing report, WHDH said the investigation remained active. No information about a suspect, motive, or the victims' conditions after arrival at the hospitals had been made public as of Sunday.
