The Tony Award-winning musical Suffs is playing its final stretch of performances anywhere in the country this week, and it is happening in Fort Worth. The show's first national tour concludes at Bass Performance Hall, with its very last performance set for Sunday, August 9.
The engagement, running from Tuesday through next Sunday, closes out an 11-month journey that began in Washington State in September 2025 and wound through dozens of cities before landing at Bass Hall, according to WFAA. The musical's creator, Shaina Taub, made Tony Awards history in June 2024 when she became the first woman to independently win Tonys for both Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score in the same season, according to the Columbia Spectator.
