In a Tuesday notice, NYPD Crime Stoppers said the three unidentified individuals entered the bar at about 4 a.m. and one of them brandished a black pistol fitted with an extended magazine. The two male employees, ages 38 and 43, were forced into separate bathrooms and had their hands tied with electrical cords and tape.

Robbers Allegedly Took Safe From NoMad Cocktail Bar

Police said the group removed a safe containing bottles of liquor valued at approximately $7,000. DJ equipment taken in the robbery was valued at about $13,000, according to the notice.

Obvio’s official website identifies the venue as a cocktail bar and lounge in NoMad. The business is located within the NYPD’s 13th Precinct, which covers southern Midtown, including the lower Rose Hill area.

Anonymous Tips Could Bring Up To $3,500

The NYPD’s Crime Stoppers program offers rewards of up to $3,500 for anonymous information that leads to an arrest and indictment. Tipsters can call 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), submit information online, or send a direct message to @NYPDTips.

The notice did not identify the three people or announce any arrests. Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information about the robbery is being asked to contact investigators anonymously.
