The match will close the U.S. team's international window, which runs from September 21 through October 6. According to the Pioneer Press, the Americans are also scheduled to face Peru in Orlando on September 26, Chile in St. Louis on September 29 and Mexico in Glendale, Arizona, on October 3.

The U.S. has won all three of its previous matches at Allianz Field: 4-0 over Guyana in 2019, 3-0 over Honduras in 2022 and 4-0 over Oman in 2023.
