St. Louis is getting a country-music heavyweight this fall, with Wynonna Judd scheduled to bring The Hard Truth Tour to Stifel Theatre on Oct. 23. The concert will put one of country music’s most recognizable voices on a downtown stage during a major new chapter in her career.
The St. Louis stop was announced Monday, according to First Alert 4. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, giving fans an early chance to claim seats for the fall performance.
New Album Lands Weeks Before St. Louis Show
The concert arrives shortly after Judd’s new album, The Hard Truth, is scheduled for release on Oct. 2. Her official website describes the record as a 10-song collection and identifies Judd as a five-time Grammy winner and Country Music Hall of Fame member.
That makes the St. Louis date more than a routine tour stop: It will come as Judd introduces new material while continuing a career built on solo hits and the enduring legacy of The Judds. For local country fans, the ticket countdown starts Friday, while the concert itself remains a little over two months away.
