Drag performer, musician and actor Alaska 5000 is bringing her music to every corner of the country, and Las Vegas has landed a headlining date on the itinerary. The newly announced Alaska: The Revolution Tour will hit all 50 states across 55 dates beginning next spring, with a Las Vegas stop set for House of Blues on May 1, 2027.
General on-sale tickets go live September 16, 2026, at 10 a.m. PT, according to FOX5 Vegas, which reported the tour announcement. Presales are running throughout the week ahead of that general release, and venues along the route have already begun posting their own presale codes. Delmar Hall in St. Louis, for instance, shared the presale schedule for its own April 3, 2027 stop as part of the nationwide rollout, according to a Facebook post from Delmar Hall.
The Las Vegas date will unfold inside House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. The venue has been part of the Strip's live music scene since it opened in 1999, giving Alaska a stage for a solo drag concert in a city better known for its resident ensemble shows.
A Reality TV Runner-Up Turned Multi-Hyphenate
Alaska 5000, whose real name is Justin Andrew Honard, first broke through nationally as the runner-up on Season 5 of RuPaul's Drag Race in 2013 before returning to win Season 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars in 2016, according to her entry on Wikipedia. She reportedly auditioned for every season of the show before finally landing a spot in Season 5.
Music has remained central to her career since then. She released her fifth solo studio album, The Brunette Album, in September 2026, following earlier records including Anus, Poundcake, Vagina and Red 4 Filth. Two of her tracks were named to Rolling Stone's list of top drag queen songs in 2024, per her official bio.
Alaska has also moved into theater as both a writer and performer. She co-wrote and starred in Drag: The Musical.
Overlapping With a Broadway Run in Las Vegas
Ahead of the music tour, Alaska is already booked into another Las Vegas engagement. She's starring as Mary Todd Lincoln in the first national tour of Cole Escola's Tony-winning play Oh, Mary!, running from September 2026 through January 2027 with stops including the Smith Center in Las Vegas, according to TheaterMania. She co-stars on that tour alongside Tony Award winner J. Harrison Ghee.
Beyond the stage, Alaska co-hosts the drag recap podcast Race Chaser alongside performer Willam.
Las Vegas Already Has a Drag Fixture
Alaska's one-night headlining stop will land in a market that already has a well-established drag institution. RuPaul's Drag Race Live! at the Flamingo Las Vegas opened in January 2020 and passed its 1,000th performance milestone in 2026, as previously reported by Hoodline. That show relies on a rotating cast of Drag Race alumni performing multiple nights a week, a very different model from a touring solo headliner passing through for a single date.
A Tour Unfolding Amid Legal and Financial Uncertainty
Planning a 50-state tour comes as drag performance remains a subject of public debate in parts of the country.
The live drag touring market is a commercial undertaking. Against that backdrop, a 55-date run through all 50 states represents an unusually ambitious bet for a solo drag act, with Las Vegas ticket buyers set to find out starting this week whether the demand is there.
