A masked man walked into a business near South Fort Apache Road and West Flamingo Road on Aug. 10, claimed he had a handgun, and ordered an employee to empty the cash register. Nearly two months later, Las Vegas police still haven’t identified him, and they’re asking the public for help.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the robbery happened at approximately 9:34 p.m. in the 4000 block of South Fort Apache Road, as detailed by fox5vegas.com. Investigators say the suspect told an employee he was armed with a handgun and demanded the worker open the register and hand over the money.
What The Suspect Looked Like
Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic or light-skinned Black adult male, standing about 6 feet tall with a heavy build, per the same account. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap pulled over a black beanie that covered his face, along with a black hooded sweatshirt printed with the words “Stage Door” across the front.
The seed report from KSNV adds that he was also wearing black pants and white shoes with blue stripes, rounding out the description investigators have released so far. No further details about the business itself, any injuries, or how much cash was taken have been made public.
