The former creamery
Carminati Creamery opened at the Easton Road address on Sept. 1, 2018. Darin and Amy Carminati founded the business and sourced fresh dairy locally from Tanner Brothers Dairy Farm in Bucks County, according to PhillyVoice. Amy Carminati had worked as a nurse at Holy Redeemer Hospital.
The Glenside location closed Aug. 30, 2025, as the owners concentrated operations at their newer shop at 740 Yorkway Place in Jenkintown. That location opened in April 2024, according to Glenside Local.
Easton Road setting
The Easton Road corridor previously received a Montgomery Award for streetscape improvements. The work included widened sidewalks, decorative lighting, street furniture, and other pedestrian improvements along Easton Road and Wesley Avenue, according to the Montgomery County Planning Commission.
