The Boston Police Department issued a missing person alert Saturday saying it was “seeking the public's assistance in efforts to locate 80-Year-Old Cora Scott.” Police describe her as a Black woman, about 5 feet 2 inches tall, hunched over, with short gray hair. According to Boston 25 News, Scott was last seen wearing a black sweater and brown pants.
Familiar Routes Through Downtown Boston
Police believe Scott may have traveled beyond Roxbury and into some of the city's busiest downtown corridors. Officers say she may be in the Boston Common, South End, International Place or Copley areas, the outlet's report notes. Detectives have also said that she often follows along Tremont Street, Boylston Street and Newbury Street, a pattern that could help searchers narrow where she might be spotted next.
Those routes run through downtown Boston and the Back Bay.
