A 24-year-old Boulder woman, her 8-day-old baby boy and a 35-year-old man are missing after last being seen in the 1400 block of Pine Street on Tuesday afternoon, prompting an alert from Colorado authorities concerning Kylie Rucker. Officials believe she is with Julio Cardona III and their newborn son, Julio. Kylie Rucker was last seen at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued an Endangered Missing Alert for Rucker, publishing her description, Cardona’s description and photos of the family’s vehicle in a post from its official account on X, according to CBI
. Rucker is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and 90 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, while Cardona is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and 135 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. The alert states plainly that law enforcement is concerned for the safety of Rucker, Cardona and the baby.
The spot where Rucker was last seen is in Boulder, according to the City of Boulder. Less than a day later, the family's gray 2018 Subaru Forester, bearing Colorado license plate CYM-A61, was spotted traveling southbound near I-25 and Sky Ridge Avenue in Lone Tree on Wednesday at 12:25 p.m. The vehicle has black wheels and a pink love sticker on the rear windshield, per the CBI alert.
A 45-Mile Trip Down I-25
That stretch of Lone Tree sits roughly 45 miles south of downtown Boulder, a drive of about 50 minutes, according to travel-routing data from Wanderlog. The Subaru was tracked near I-25 and Sky Ridge Avenue in Lone Tree.
The Boulder Police Department is listed as a contact for the case. Anyone who sees Rucker, Cardona, the baby or the Subaru is asked to call 911 or the Boulder Police Department at 303-441-3333.
