The guide covers residential permits; it does not establish commercial permit requirements or broader electrical-safety rules.
The business’s beginnings
Briggs Brothers Lighting began with Caden Briggs and his younger brother Graysen decorating their family’s home for the holidays. Neighbors then asked them to decorate their homes, an early step in the business’s development, according to ABC15 Arizona.
ABC15 reports that Graysen was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer at 15 and died less than a year later. Caden, now 20, continued the business and is its founder, the station reports.
The company has grown beyond holiday displays to offer year-round lighting projects, according to its website. ABC15 reports that it employs many of the brothers’ friends.
