According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the Cobb County Police Department and Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services both responded after first responders were alerted that a vehicle had struck the building at 294 Interstate North Circle. Emergency crews arrived at the scene at approximately 3:41 p.m., the outlet reported. Authorities have not disclosed the cause of the crash, released the identity of the driver, or stated whether charges will be filed as the investigation continues.

The building involved is an office property offering office and medical space that was built in 1973, according to a LoopNet property listing. The crash adds to a long list of vehicle collisions in a county that already ranks among Georgia's busiest for traffic incidents. Safety research organization Blockaides has found that operator or pedal error causes 41% of these storefront crashes, while driving under the influence accounts for 15% and general traffic collisions make up another 12%, according to Blockaides' analysis.
