Chipotle Mexican Grill is set to open its third Garland restaurant on Tuesday at 4680 N. Shiloh Rd., bringing a Chipotlane drive-thru pickup lane and a curated high-protein menu to the North Garland corridor. The new location will operate daily from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m., serving up limited-time pollo asado alongside the chain's now-familiar digital ordering setup.
The opening was first detailed by CW33 Dallas / Ft. Worth, which reported that the Shiloh Road restaurant will feature the Chipotlane, a lane built specifically for customers picking up digital orders from their vehicles. The station also detailed the location's limited-time menu additions, including pollo asado — freshly grilled chicken seasoned with garlic, Mexican spices and hand-cut cilantro, finished with citrus and real lime — and chili lime chips, described as fresh tortilla chips seasoned with lime and chili peppers.
Behind the storefront sits a fairly substantial buildout. State licensing records reviewed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation show the project, registered as Chipotle #5837 Shiloh & Arapaho TI, involved a $650,000 tenant improvement across a 2,385-square-foot footprint, with inspection completion recorded for this month. The same filings identify Dallas-based Noble Garland LLC as the property owner and developer of record, with Fort Worth-based Rogue Architects handling the design work.
Local Planning Cleared More Than Two Years Ago
The path to opening day started well before construction crews arrived. The Garland Plan Commission recommended approval for a Specific Use Provision allowing a drive-through restaurant at the 4680 North Shiloh Road site back in January 2024, according to filings reviewed at a City of Garland plan commission meeting, clearing local municipal requirements for the 3.3-acre tract, which sits within Planned Development District 20-35 for neighborhood office and commercial uses.
Once open, the Shiloh Road store will become Chipotle's third restaurant operating within Garland city limits, joining existing locations at 4170 Lavon Drive in Firewheel Town Center and 550 I-30 Frontage Road, per Chipotle's own restaurant locator. The site also sits near other drive-thru operators in the area, including a Dutch Bros Coffee at Shiloh and Arapaho.
High-Protein Menu and Rewards Perks
Alongside the limited-time pollo asado, the new location will offer a curated high-protein menu with items ranging from 15 to 81 grams of protein, including the Double High Protein Bowl, the High Protein-High Fiber Bowl and the High Protein Cup. A single chicken taco on that menu starts at $3.50, and the store will also offer family meal options designed for home dining. Customers can enroll in the Chipotle Rewards program online, and new members will receive free chips and guacamole with a purchase.
Part of a Bigger Chipotlane Push
The Garland opening fits into a much larger corporate pattern. More than 80% of Chipotle's new store openings now include Chipotlanes, according to a prior Hoodline report on a Katy, Texas opening, including 42 of the 49 new restaurants the chain opened chainwide in the first quarter of 2026. That same report noted digital orders placed through Chipotle's app and website accounted for 38.6% of total company food and beverage revenue during the first quarter of 2026, underscoring why the pickup-lane format has become central to the chain's expansion strategy.
New store openings typically generate 25 to 30 local jobs, with more than 80% of internal general management roles filled through promotions from entry-level crew positions, the earlier Hoodline coverage found. Chipotle reached its 4,000th global restaurant milestone in December 2025 with an opening in Manhattan, Kansas.
Company leadership has set a long-term target of 7,000 restaurants across North America, pacing roughly 350 net new openings per year over the next decade, according to Restaurant Business. The outlet reported that CEO Scott Boatwright said that pace aligns best with the company's internal talent pipeline.
