Two young men are in the hospital after a double shooting near East 68th Street on Cleveland’s east side, and neighbors say the gunfire ended with a car crashing straight into a garage. Medic crews rushed a 21-year-old and a 23-year-old from the scene, with one now listed in stable condition and the other in critical condition.
According to Cleveland 19 News, Cleveland police are investigating the shooting, which left the car resting inside a home’s garage area after the gunfire stopped. Neighbor Tiffany Wright said she heard the shots ring out before the crash, telling the station, “we heard about like 12 gunshots.”

Investigators have not released many details about exactly what happened or who fired the shots. Police say they do not know what led up to the shooting, and the outlet’s report notes the investigation remains in its early stages.
