Downtown St. Paul's CHS Field will fill with music, dance and the smell of Latino food trucks this Saturday as CLUES Fiesta Latina returns for its tenth anniversary, running from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The free, family-friendly festival is expected to draw more than 4,000 people to the ballpark at 360 N Broadway St. for a day built around culture, community and health.
The milestone celebration is organized by Comunidades Latinas Unidas en Servicio, or CLUES, and according to clues.org, the event is described as a free community festival for the whole family that celebrates Latino culture and heritage through the arts. The site notes this year marks the festival's tenth anniversary, a milestone organizers are highlighting as they expand the event's offerings. As the Pioneer Press reports, the festival will also feature as many as 150 community and resource vendors alongside a Latino cuisine food market and musical performances from Latino artists.
Health Screenings, Backpacks and Family Activities
Health has long been part of Fiesta Latina's mission, and this year is no different. Per the Pioneer Press, the event will provide free health screenings, family wellness activities and children's activities throughout the afternoon, while CHS Field's own event listing notes the festival will offer health and wellness resources, healthy Latino food, free medical exams and a backpack giveaway. The Pioneer Press adds that CLUES will distribute elementary and middle school backpacks stocked with school supplies, a detail aimed at families gearing up for the school year.
Beyond the health and school-supply offerings, the day includes plenty of family-oriented fun. According to chsfield.com, the lineup includes arts and crafts activities, door prizes, the Mercado de Artesanías, a job fair and free activities for the entire family. The venue also notes the festival will feature live music along with folkloric and contemporary dance performances, giving attendees a full sensory taste of Latino culture and heritage.
A New Art Gallery Debuts
This year's festival also marks a cultural first for CLUES. The organization notes that Fiesta Latina serves as the first stop of CLUES's new art gallery, according to the Pioneer Press. The inaugural exhibition, titled To Be Minnesotane: Ser y Estar, explores the meanings of the Spanish verbs ser and estar — both of which translate to “be” — and examines the relationship between origin and circumstance, per the same report. The exhibit will remain on view at the CLUES Latino Art Gallery until Nov. 6, 2026, giving festivalgoers a reason to revisit the theme long after the festival wraps up.
Getting There: Free Transit, Parking and a Few Rules
Organizers are encouraging attendees to skip the car altogether. Metro Transit will provide free rides to the event, and per clues.org, riders can claim a free trip to Fiesta Latina through the event website. The organization's website lists bus routes 3, 54, 63, 64, 67, 75 and 94, along with the METRO Gold and B lines, as stopping near CHS Field. Those still planning to drive can find street parking along with various parking lots and ramps around the ballpark, according to clues.org.
Pets won't be welcome this time around. Clues.org states that pets are not allowed at Fiesta Latina this year, a shift organizers are asking attendees to keep in mind before heading downtown. With free admission, free transit and a full slate of health, cultural and family programming, the tenth annual Fiesta Latina is shaping up as one of the bigger community gatherings St. Paul has seen at CHS Field this fall.
