Doyle was a student at Independence High School in Coldwater, according to WREG.com. He was shot Saturday afternoon at the Panola County trailer park, per deputies, and later died from his injuries. Independence High School described Doyle, spelling his first name “Kentavious” in its statement, as a student and varsity boys basketball player, remembering him in a statement as “sweet, respectful, and playful.” The school serves roughly 507 students across grades 7 through 12 within the Tate County School District, according to SchoolDigger.
