Swimmers should stay near lifeguards, and anyone caught in a rip current should float, avoid swimming directly against it and signal for help if needed. Ocean conditions may be hazardous even while the weather looks ideal for a beach day.

A slight chance of showers is forecast around Wednesday, with southwest wind gusts up to about 30 knots. The next active weather is mainly a late-week possibility.
