Storms Could Bring Wind, Hail And Flooding Rain
Some parts of the broader forecast area could receive 2.5 to 4.5 inches of rain through early Monday, especially where thunderstorms repeatedly track over the same locations. That creates a low-end flash-flood threat, including on roads and in low-lying areas that can collect water quickly.
Outdoor events and evening travel may face sudden downpours, gusty winds and reduced visibility. If thunder is audible, move indoors, and never drive through a flooded roadway even if the water appears shallow.

Showers may linger into Monday, but Labor Day will be noticeably cooler with partly sunny skies and a high near 83 degrees. East-northeast winds around 10 mph could gust to 20 mph before conditions turn mostly clear Monday night, with a low near 66.
Sunshine Returns Before Another Late-Week Heat Bump
Tuesday looks sunny with a high near 86, followed by a mostly sunny Wednesday near 88. Thursday brings another warm-up to around 93 degrees, with a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms, while additional storm chances return Friday and Saturday.
