Getaway Car Stopped in Cobb County, But Kindle Was Gone
Law enforcement officers intercepted the fleeing sedan and took the female driver into custody after stopping her in Cobb County, according to 11Alive. Kindle, however, was no longer inside the car when it was pulled over, and authorities believe he had already left the vehicle before the stop. Per the same account, deputies have not identified the driver publicly or announced any charges against her.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office and Adult Detention Center, where the car wash detail is based, is located at 8470 Earl D. Lee Blvd. in Douglasville, per the Douglas County Government. Kindle's presence in the Douglas County jail traces back to a June 22 arrest on charges of theft by shoplifting and failure to appear, according to jail records cited by Atlanta News First. That booking followed an earlier stay in the Cobb County Jail dating to May 9, per The Georgia Gazette, which reported he had been held in Douglas County without bond.
His legal troubles run deeper still. A May 9 Cobb County booking listed Kindle in connection with robbery after he allegedly stole a 10-karat gold chain and two pendants valued at $23,800 from Citi Jewelers, a store in Kennesaw's Town Center at Cobb mall, according to the Marietta Daily Journal. The robbery accusation is separate from the theft-by-shoplifting case that landed him in the Douglas County jail this summer.
