The bigger concern is along the oceanfront, where elevated surf and strong currents are expected through Thursday evening. The National Weather Service is warning of a high rip current risk, with breakers around 4 to 6 feet and minor beach flooding possible around high tide Thursday morning.
Some area waters also remain under Small Craft Advisories through Thursday afternoon or evening, depending on location. Swimmers should stay near lifeguards, and boaters should check conditions before heading out.

Friday brings a noticeable reset, with mostly sunny skies, lower humidity and a high near 79 degrees. Friday night should be mostly clear, with temperatures dipping to around 67.
Saturday stays mostly sunny and mild, topping out near 78, but showers and thunderstorms become increasingly likely Saturday night. Sunday could start wet, with storms and showers likely before 2 p.m. and a high near 79, a shift from the warmer, drier setup highlighted in Wednesday's Hoodline forecast.
Conditions improve again Monday and Tuesday, when mostly sunny skies and highs around 81 are expected. Wednesday may bring another chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms as temperatures rise to the mid-80s.
