Patchy fog is expected to linger into the morning before lifting, with temperatures rising from around 71 degrees to a high near 78. West winds will run 5 to 8 mph, and Cleveland’s rain chance remains low even as a few showers or isolated storms could develop farther south in the region.
No watches, warnings or advisories are in effect for Cleveland. The National Weather Service Cleveland office says severe weather and flooding hazards are not expected with Thursday’s limited storm potential.
Friday Looks Like The Easy Outdoor Day
Friday brings the cleanest forecast of the next several days, with sunny skies and a high near 78. Overnight temperatures will fall to around 63 under partly cloudy skies, making for a comfortable evening by late-summer standards.
Saturday Brings Showers And Storms
Saturday turns warmer and more humid, with a high near 82 and a 40% chance of precipitation. Showers could arrive between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., followed by additional showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening; rainfall totals should generally stay below a tenth of an inch.
Forecasters say a stronger storm cannot be ruled out Saturday afternoon or evening, mainly because of the timing during peak heating. For now, the threat is considered low, with no severe-weather or flooding concerns identified for Cleveland.
Sunshine Returns Before A Warmer Tuesday
Sunday should be mostly sunny with a high near 80, followed by a partly sunny Monday near 80. The pattern gets more unsettled Tuesday, when temperatures could reach 84 degrees alongside a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms and southwest winds around 15 mph.
The forecast cools to about 74 Wednesday, with a 30% chance of rain showers. That marks a substantive update from Hoodline’s earlier Cleveland forecast, which focused on a different week-ahead setup before this latest stretch of fog, sunshine and renewed storm chances.
