Fog Clears Before A Mild Afternoon
Patchy morning fog is possible, with winds expected to remain weak as flow shifts from offshore to onshore. The outlook discusses possible precipitation for Sunday and Monday, not Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Weekend Warmup Arrives Gradually
Friday looks similar, with morning fog giving way to mostly sunny skies and a high near 82. Saturday climbs to about 83, while Sunday reaches around 82 with partly sunny skies and overnight lows in the mid-60s.
The latest outlook is a substantive update to Hoodline’s earlier forecast, trimming Thursday’s high slightly while laying out a clearer warmup into the weekend. Morning fog remains the recurring theme, but the afternoons should be much friendlier for errands, patios and outdoor plans.
Mostly Dry Through Next Week
The outlook extends through Wednesday. Overnight lows generally range from 63 to 66, so evenings should remain comfortable even as afternoons turn warmer.
No land-based watches, warnings or advisories are listed for Downtown Los Angeles. Boaters should note that a Small Craft Advisory is listed for zones 673 through 676 from 3 p.m. Thursday to 3 a.m. Saturday, with additional Small Craft Advisory conditions expected in outer waters.
