Seattle is starting Wednesday with temperatures in the low 50s, but the downtown forecast is headed toward a mostly sunny afternoon near 63 degrees. Rain chances are very low, making for an easier commute and a pleasant turn for outdoor plans.
Fog And Low Clouds Could Linger Early
Moisture left behind by Tuesday’s rain may produce patches of fog or low clouds around daybreak, especially in calmer spots. The National Weather Service Seattle office says those clouds should thin through the day, bringing at least partial sunshine by afternoon.
Weekend Warmup Builds
Thursday stays mild and partly sunny with a high near 64, followed by mostly sunny skies Friday. Friday and Sunday look to tie for the warmest days of the stretch, with Sunday temperatures in the lower to mid 70s; Saturday should be cooler.
Winds will remain generally light and mostly northerly, with afternoon speeds ranging from about 2 to 9 mph through Saturday. No watches, warnings or advisories are in effect, and mostly sunny conditions continue Monday and Tuesday with highs near 68 and 64 degrees.
