Grand Champion Meats is scheduled to host an Oktoberfest event in Foley, Minnesota, on Wednesday, September 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. The program includes food, beer, live music and a bean bag game, with activities intended for both adults and children.
According to WJON, Pantown Brewing is co-hosting the event. The menu is set to include big pretzels, apple strudel and samples of smoked brats.
What's on the Menu and What It Costs
For guests 21 and older, tickets include a beer. Advance tickets cost $25, while tickets purchased at the door cost $30.
Tickets cost $20 for guests ages 13 to 20 and $10 for children 12 and under. The event also includes activities for younger attendees.
Minnesota's support for meat education and processing
The event comes amid recent state support for the meat industry. According to a 2025 Minnesota Department of Agriculture report, Minnesota awarded $222,360 in Meat Education and Training grants to six school districts for meat-cutting and butchery programs. A March 2023 State of Minnesota budget document also recommended $75,000 in general funds for a Minnesota Department of Agriculture Meat Processing Navigator to help prospective processors navigate food-safety regulations, grants and infrastructure requirements.
A Family-Friendly Evening in Foley
