The site at 857 N. Easton Road includes roughly 4,748 square feet of existing improvements built in 1964 and renovated in 1985, and it sits just steps from several dealerships Fred Beans already operates along the same commercial corridor.
Colliers arranged the sale, according to Connect CRE, with Rich Weitzman, a senior vice president in the firm's Philadelphia office, representing both Bergey's and Fred Beans in the deal. Fred Beans plans to redevelop the parcel into an approximately 20,000-square-foot Fred Beans Ford Truck Center, the outlet reports. Weitzman's dual role reflected long-standing commercial ties with both companies, according to Capdex, which also reported that Colliers declined to disclose the purchase price.
Bergey's had owned the site since 1979, running a 5,000-square-foot tire and auto repair center there before the sale, per historical detail cited by Bisnow. That long tenure ends as Fred Beans folds the property into a growing commercial vehicle footprint that already includes other Fred Beans locations along North Easton Road, the company noted on its AutoExpress blog.
A Late 2027 Target for the New Truck Center
Fred Beans is targeting a late 2027 opening for the redeveloped facility once site renovations and new construction wrap up, according to the company's announcement. The rebuild is focused on expanded service bays engineered specifically for commercial trucks, since fleet vehicles require larger bay clearances and specialized equipment than typical passenger cars — a design choice aimed at cutting turnaround times for regional fleet maintenance customers.
With the tire center now closed, Fred Beans redirected former Bergey's retail tire and repair customers to its nearby AutoExpress location at 838 N. Easton Road, offering them a $10 service discount to smooth the transition, the dealer group said in its announcement. It's a small gesture, but one that signals how much local service business Fred Beans is trying to hold onto as it repurposes the site for heavier-duty work.

The Route 611 corridor has been a busy spot for Fred Beans' real estate dealings this year. Hoodline previously reported that the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center in Doylestown put its own expansion plans on hold in July, pausing a proposed 30,000- to 35,000-square-foot lab building on an adjacent 2.85-acre parcel that Fred Beans owns, amid a slowdown in early-stage life sciences venture funding. That pause and the truck center project underscore how much Doylestown commercial land use currently runs through Fred Beans' holdings.
Whether Doylestown Township has fully signed off on land development and zoning approvals for the new truck center, and the exact construction schedule leading up to the late 2027 target, remain open questions. For now, the sale marks another step in Fred Beans' steady consolidation of the commercial vehicle business along Route 611.
