The Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati has picked its site for the 2027 Homearama showcase, and it's back in familiar territory: Oakridge Estates in Goshen Township, Clermont County. Twelve of the community's 32 large homesites will be reserved for show builders, with proposed dates running from August 28 through September 12, 2027.
The announcement, first reported by Local 12, positions Oakridge Estates as the 2027 Homearama community, where builders will design and construct homes on the reserved lots. Homearama has long billed itself as a showcase for the best in residential real estate, drawing around 25,000 attendees who tour the custom-built homes each year, according to the outlet's report. Those show lots are priced between $275,000 and $325,000, per details from Wieland Builders.
Oakridge Estates itself spans homesites ranging from 0.92 to 3.21 acres, built around a spring-fed creek and central pond near State Route 48 and Oakridge Drive in the Goshen Local School District, according to Justin Doyle Homes. Non-show base homes in the community start at $905,000, while the showcase homes built for Homearama are expected to sell for $2 million or more.
A Builder Fresh Off This Year's $3.7 Million Showpiece
Justin Doyle Homes serves as the primary developer of Oakridge Estates, and the company isn't new to big Homearama price tags. For the currently running 2026 showcase, the builder constructed “The Ironwood,” an 8,126-square-foot, five-bedroom home listed at $3.7 million complete with a pool and sports court. The builder designs all of its floor plans in-house across its regional developments.
That 2026 showcase, known as The Estates at Bothe Farms in Hamilton Township, Warren County, is underway now through September 13, featuring eight fully decorated custom homes priced from $1.6 million to $3.7 million across 19 lots of two-plus acres in the Little Miami School District, per the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati.
Goshen's Second Turn in Three Years
Oakridge Estates marks Homearama's return to Goshen Township just three years after the 2024 showcase at The Reserves at Stone Pillars Farm, an equestrian-themed community spread across 39 acres where six luxury homes started at $1.25 million, according to Home Leisure Magazine. In between, organizers took the show into Cincinnati city limits for the first time in five years, redeveloping the 31-acre former Kenner Toys factory site in Oakley into Foundry Park at Three Oaks for the 2025 event, which included 79 homesites and 15-year LEED tax abatements, as reported by Oyler Hines.
The 2027 edition will mark the 64th annual Homearama, a showcase established in 1962 by the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati and billed as the oldest luxury home showcase in the United States, according to the Northern Kentucky Tribune. The event has since expanded across Hamilton, Warren, Clermont, and Northern Kentucky counties.
Part of a Bigger Building Wave in Clermont County
Goshen Township's selection for Homearama 2027 lands amid a broader construction surge across Clermont County. The county issued a record 6,156 building permits in 2025, its third consecutive year of record-shattering growth, Hoodline previously reported.
Just down the road, Drees Homes plans to break ground by late 2026 on a redevelopment of the 163-acre Eagles Nest Golf Course into 555 residential units, including 305 single-family homes and 250 apartments, along with a Kroger-anchored shopping center near State Route 28. The township is also seeing a $10 million, 24-acre Cincinnati United Soccer Club complex break ground along the same corridor this year, alongside state-led brownfield cleanups in the area.
Taken together, the projects suggest Goshen Township is becoming a recurring anchor for Clermont County's residential growth — from record-setting permit counts to golf-course-turned-neighborhood conversions and now a second luxury home showcase in three years. For Homearama organizers, the choice keeps the country's oldest luxury home tour rooted in one of the region's fastest-changing suburbs.
