Clouds Clear Before A Warmer Weekend
The National Weather Service expects mostly clear skies Wednesday after morning clouds, with temperatures showing little change Thursday. Coastal low clouds may return during the late-night and morning hours.
Temperatures will warm through Saturday, then change little. The weather service says moderate heat risk is possible for coastal areas and parts of the western valleys, so outdoor plans may feel noticeably hotter by the afternoon.
Mountain Storm Chance Thursday
Most of San Diego County should stay dry, but the mountains have a less than 20% chance of showers or thunderstorms Thursday afternoon. The chance is small, though anyone heading into higher elevations should keep an eye on changing skies and avoid exposed areas if thunder develops.
Cooling Arrives Sunday And Monday
Temperatures should ease Sunday and Monday as more mid- and high-level clouds move in. Temperatures warm Tuesday as mid- and high-level clouds decrease.
