Friday brings another high near 93, but rain and thunderstorm chances rise to 50%, with humid conditions potentially making it feel close to 100 degrees or higher. Saturday looks like the wettest day in the near-term forecast, with an 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms and a high near 90.
Forecasters say some storms Friday and Saturday could produce gusty winds, while repeated downpours may create localized flash-flooding problems. Outdoor plans may get squeezed by the heat first and thunderstorms later, so checking the forecast before heading out will be worthwhile.
