A family-owned Texas bakery chain and a South Korea-based bakery chain are both preparing to make their Tarrant County debuts in Hurst and Euless. Latham Bakery is preparing to open its fifth location at 316 E. Pipeline Road in Hurst, while Paris Baguette is finishing construction on a cafe in the Glade Parks shopping center off Texas 121 and Glade Road.
The Hurst opening marks Latham Bakery's first foray into Tarrant County, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The locally owned chain got its start in Forney with 15 employees before expanding into Canton, Kaufman and Garland, and a Facebook post cited by the Star-Telegram says the Hurst shop should be ready to open in a few short weeks. The new location will take over a retail suite previously occupied by Not Just Pho, a casual Vietnamese restaurant that opened there in early 2019.
Latham Bakery's first retail location opened in Forney in 2017, after founder Malinda Latham partnered with the Forney Economic Development Corporation to open the brand downtown. Latham is a graduate of South Garland High School, and the bakery opened a Garland location in spring 2022.
What's on the Menu in Hurst
The Hurst bakery will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, including club sandwiches made on homemade breads and croissants, salads, and gluten-free options, per the Star-Telegram's report. Latham told the outlet that chicken salad sandwiches and blueberry scones are the bakery's most popular items. D Magazine has recommended the chain's tres leches bundt cake, sticky buns and specialty brownies.
The bakery's growth shows no signs of slowing. Latham Bakery has a planned location in Royse City.
Paris Baguette Arrives in Euless
A few miles west, Paris Baguette is completing construction on a cafe inside the Glade Parks outdoor shopping center in Euless, with the Star-Telegram reporting the buildout is expected to wrap up in October. Public records filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation put the interior buildout at $750,000 across 4,075 square feet at 2920 Rio Grande Blvd., a project that includes new commercial kitchen equipment and mechanical systems inside the busy Mid-Cities complex.
Paris Baguette will serve sweet and savory pastries, wraps, breakfast sandwiches and cakes, including a chocolate hazelnut cake with Nutella, chocolate mousse, a salted caramel layer cake, blueberry chiffon cake and strawberry soft cream cake, according to the Star-Telegram. The Euless cafe joins a broader wave of investment at Glade Parks, which is also adding a $2 million, 6,692-square-foot Bottlecap Alley Icehouse Grill targeted for late 2026.
Betting Big on North Texas
Paris Baguette's Euless location is part of a broader regional push. The chain broke ground in late 2025 on its first North American commercial manufacturing facility in nearby Burleson to produce dough and support franchise growth, according to Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery. The South Korea-founded company has been expanding its U.S. presence.
The Hurst and Euless debuts bring a Texas bakery chain and a Korea-based bakery cafe chain to the same corner of eastern Tarrant County. Hurst and Euless are neighboring Mid-Cities communities.
The Star-Telegram reported that the Hurst shop could open in a few short weeks and that construction on the Euless cafe was expected to wrap up in October.
