According to KRCG-TV, a 60-year-old Kansas City man was seriously injured Friday evening when his motorcycle crossed the center line and slammed into an oncoming pickup truck at the intersection of Route MM and Shawnee Four in Camden County, Missouri. The crash happened just before 5:15, sending the motorcycle off the roadway while the truck's driver walked away without a scratch.
According to the KMZU.com account of the crash, the Missouri State Highway Patrol determined that the motorcycle traveled over the center line before striking the pickup truck head-on. The motorcycle then left the roadway entirely, coming to rest off to the side after the impact.

The Kansas City man suffered serious injuries in the collision and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for treatment, per the same report. The driver of the pickup truck, a 31-year-old man from Phoenix, Arizona, was not injured in the crash, the outlet noted.
